The Swatch x Omega Bioceramic Moonswatch Mission On Earth Lava SO33O100 is the result of a collaboration between two Swiss watchmaking houses: Swatch and Omega. Launched in 2022, this Moonswatch collection created worldwide excitement by making the aesthetics of Omega's legendary Speedmaster accessible in a Bioceramic case—a composite material blending ceramic and bioplastic derived from sugarcane.
The "Lava" colorway dresses the case and bracelet in warm tones reminiscent of molten volcanic rock colors—deep oranges and intense blacks that contrast with the dial. The Bioceramic material offers a satin visual finish, halfway between technical ceramic and high-quality plastic, with notable lightness on the wrist.
