What the law says
The French anti-waste law for a circular economy, known as the AGEC law, makes every brand responsible for the end of life of what it puts on the market. For textiles and footwear, this responsibility goes through an eco-organisation approved by the State.
What it changes for you
Nothing at the time of purchase: the eco-contribution is already paid, wherever you are delivered. And the day a pair can no longer be worn, it has a way out: a textile collection point, partly funded by us, that sorts it, reuses it or recycles it.

Drop-off points all over France, for shoes and clothing, even damaged.

Every item is examined: still wearable, or good for its materials.

Whatever can still be used goes on to a second life.

The rest is shredded and comes back as insulation, cleaning cloth or new fibre.

No. Geturbrick does not collect used pairs: that is the role of the eco-organisation and its drop-off points. Our part is to pay the eco-contribution for every item that enters France, so for every order, wherever it is delivered.
In a textile bank, at a charity or in a partner store, even if the pair is damaged. The nearest point is listed on the eco-organisation’s website.
It is the number certifying, with the French State, that Geturbrick is registered in the extended producer responsibility scheme for textiles and footwear. It appears in our terms and conditions of sale.
Yes. The eco-contribution is paid as soon as the item enters France, even before it is sold: an order delivered to the Netherlands or Germany has contributed as much as a French one. For end-of-life drop-off, used textile collection also exists elsewhere in Europe: check with your local authority.
