The Nike Cortez Basic Leather White Black is one of the oldest silhouettes in the Nike catalog. Created in 1972 by Bill Bowerman, the Cortez is the very first running shoe commercially released by the brand. This White and Black leather colorway, released in 2017, faithfully recreates the original codes of the shoe.
The upper is constructed in smooth White leather, enhanced by Black overlays on the tongue and heel counter. The Black Swoosh subtly contrasts on the side, while the low midsole and rubber outsole maintain the characteristic low and rounded shape of the model.
The Cortez remains a running heritage reference, worn in both sports culture and streetwear for over fifty years.
