The designer applies an aged and worked patina to the silhouette of the 1997 runner, transforming a late '90s classic into an object at the intersection of wearable art.
The Glacier Grey colorway envelops the shoe in a cold, desaturated grey tone, accentuated by intentionally distressed treatment on the mesh panels and overlays. The Nike Air Max 97 retains its characteristic wavy lines, here elevated by this deliberately degraded aesthetic that contrasts with the original construction.
