The Nike Air Max 97 Icons Neon 95 is a cross-tribute between two major Nike silhouettes. It borrows the wavy bodywork of the Air Max 97, born in 1997 and inspired by Japanese high-speed trains, and grafts onto it the visual codes of the Air Max 95, the ultimate running reference of the 90s.
The colorway plays with sharp neon tones, characteristic of the original Air Max 95 aesthetic. The wavy lines of the upper echo the 97's signature, while the overlaid panels recall the anatomical construction unique to the 95. The result is a dense, saturated reading, faithful to both source models.
