The Blancpain x Swatch Scuba Fifty Fathoms Indian Ocean SO35I100 is the result of a collaboration between two Swiss watchmaking manufactures with radically different universes. Swatch, pioneer of the accessible plastic watch, partners with Blancpain, a house founded in 1735 and creator of the Fifty Fathoms — one of the first professional diving watches in history. The result: a timepiece that pays homage to the Indian Ocean, with its deep hues and details inspired by the underwater world.
The dial showcases shades evoking the turquoise and blue waters of the Indian Ocean. The bioceramic case features the round and robust silhouette of the original Fifty Fathoms, with a unidirectional rotating bezel typical of diving instruments. Golden details and luminous indices complete the ensemble with precision.
This collaboration is part of the MoonSwatch series launched by Swatch, which paved the way for these partnerships with major watchmaking houses — including the Swatch x Audemars Piguet AP Bioceramic Royal Pop — to make designs from haute horlogerie accessible.
