The Nike Zoom Cortez SP sacai White University Red Blue is the result of a collaboration between Nike and Japanese brand sacai. This project brings together two layered Cortez silhouettes, the signature technique of Chitose Abe's work, with a color-blocking that faithfully echoes the chromatic codes of the original 1970s design: white, grey, university red and blue.
The upper unfolds on an immaculate white base, punctuated by the characteristic red and blue panels of the historic Cortez. The double-layer construction signature to sacai thickens the silhouette and multiplies the details—stacked laces, widened sole, duplicated Swoosh logo. The result is dense and structured, faithful to the designer's deconstructed aesthetic.
This model is part of the sacai x Nike collaboration series, which systematically revisits classic archives through the lens of duality and layering.
