The Nike Zoom Cortez SP sacai White University Red Blue is the result of a collaboration between Nike and Japanese house sacai. This project brings together two layered Cortez silhouettes, a signature of Chitose Abe's work, with color-blocking that faithfully echoes the chromatic codes of the original 1970s model: white, grey, university red and blue.
The upper deploys on an immaculate white base, punctuated by the red and blue overlays characteristic of the historic Cortez. The double-layer construction unique to sacai thickens the silhouette and multiplies details — stacked laces, widened sole, duplicated Swoosh logo. The result is dense and structured, faithful to the designer's deconstructed aesthetic.
This model is part of the sacai x Nike collaboration series, which systematically revisits classic archives through the lens of duality and layering.
