Known for her unconventional reinterpretations of sportswear classics, Martine Rose has transformed the Shox MR4 into a mule with an open heel—an atypical silhouette that radically departs from the standard codes of the classic shape.
The Eggplant colorway dresses the entire shoe in a deep, dark purple tone, reminiscent of aubergine black. The materials blend textured mesh and synthetic overlays, while the signature Shox columns remain visible at the back, forming a sculptural and structured heel. The mule cut at the rear exposes the heel and emphasises the editorial character of the piece.
