The Nike SB Dunk Low "Wasted Youth" is born from a collaboration with Japanese creative Verdy, founder of the Wasted Youth label. Nike SB partners here with a central figure of the Tokyo streetwear scene to deliver a punk and raw interpretation of the Dunk Low. The project's visual identity is immediately recognizable: a black denim upper covered with tonal patches sewn in a DIY fashion, in direct reference to hardcore aesthetics and 80s stage wear.
The construction is built on a leather and denim upper that develops vintage character with wear. The heels feature flame embroidery, a visual signature of Wasted Youth. The foam midsole ensures lightweight cushioning, complemented by a rubber outsole with the classic pivot circle of Nike SB Dunk Low. The overall colorway is dark and textured, far from the usual SB releases.
