The Nike Blazer Low sacai British Tan is the result of a collaboration between Nike and Japanese designer Chitose Abe of sacai, released in August 2021. The concept is built on deconstructing the classic Blazer silhouette: the shoe is literally "cut" to reveal its internal structures, with foam linings intentionally left exposed and bare.
The leather upper is dressed in a British Tan colorway, a warm, earthy brown with golden undertones. The contrasts between smooth leather and exposed foam areas create a worked texture, far from conventional construction. This play between raw and finished materials is the direct signature of sacai's design approach.
This deconstructed silhouette illustrates Chitose Abe's vision, which consists of questioning a sneaker's form by exposing what is normally hidden.
