The Nike Air Max Plus Reverse Sunset revisits one of the most recognisable colourways of the silhouette. Where the original "Sunset" relied on a red and orange gradient mesh with wavy black overlays, this version completely inverts the formula. Nike presents here a black mesh base, enhanced with a neon yellow gradient that intensifies at the heel.
The colour transition starts from vibrant yellow at the heel level and gradually blends towards black on the front of the shoe. The characteristic wavy overlays of the Air Max Plus — a direct legacy of Christian Tresser's design in 1998 — remain present and emphasise the model's aggressive silhouette. The visible translucent sole showcases the integrated Air Max unit.
This "Reverse Sunset" colourway follows Nike's tradition of revisiting its strongest references by inverting the chromatic codes to create an entirely new take on an already established silhouette.
