The Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 SD Birch Peacoat is the result of a collaboration between ASICS and Valentino, two houses with radically different cultures. This FW20 project combines the Japanese artisanal expertise of the Onitsuka Tiger manufacture with Italian luxury codes, for an SD version of the Mexico 66 built directly in a Japanese factory.

The upper blends suede, leather and canvas in a carefully crafted multi-material composition. The Birch and Peacoat hues, a natural beige contrasted by a deep navy blue, are articulated around a vibrant central patch, colored laces and a burgundy tongue, faithful to the deconstructed aesthetic of this edition. The low silhouette and thin sole remain characteristic of the Mexico 66.

This SD model continues the tradition of enriched reissues of the Mexico 66, designed to combine athletic heritage and contemporary creative sensitivity.
