The New Balance 990v5 Grey is the fifth iteration of a silhouette born in 1982, designed from the outset as New Balance's most technically advanced running shoe. The v5 preserves this heritage by integrating ENCAP technology in the EVA midsole, complemented by an Ortholite insert and a TPU strap for structured support.
The upper blends premium pigskin suede with breathable mesh, two materials that characterize the distinctive grey visual aesthetic of the 990. The rubber outsole completes the construction, while the chunky silhouette remains consistent with other versions in the line, such as the 990v6 or the 990v4.
