The New Balance 990v2 Salehe Bembury "Sand Be The Time" is a collaboration released in December 2022 between New Balance and designer Salehe Bembury. Inspired by the sand dunes of southern Utah, this pair expresses a profound relationship between nature and footwear—a recognizable signature in Bembury's work.

The 990v2 silhouette plays with a layering of materials: breathable mesh and suede combine to create a palette of rosy coral, sand, and earth tones. The different hues emerge naturally through the construction layers, delivering visual depth that's cohesive with the desert universe that inspires it.

This collaboration is part of the series of projects Salehe Bembury has developed around the 990, a platform he has progressively made his own since his earliest work with the Boston brand.

Shop items shipping within 48 h

Do you accept returns?

Yes, you have 14 days after delivery to withdraw, from your account via the "Withdraw and return my order" button, for deliveries in the European Union or the EEA. The item must come back in the condition you received it: new, unworn, complete with its box, accessories and tags. Otherwise, its loss in value is deducted from the refund, up to 100% of the price. Sealed hygiene items (underwear, socks) are only taken back sealed.
