The New Balance 9060 Blue Agate marks the launch of the 9060 silhouette at New Balance. This inaugural colorway takes its name from the original blue hue of the cushioning technology unique to the model, a direct reference inherited from the brand's technical DNA. Brazilian photographer Gustavo Soares, based in São Paulo, revealed the first images of the model to the world.
The upper combines a blue agate mesh base with black leather overlays, enhanced by pink and spruce green accents. This color combination, blending deep black and mineral shades, gives the silhouette a distinctive character within the 9060 range. There are also spruce green details that break up the dark dominance of the overall design. The 9060 Black Castlerock Grey offers a more understated alternative in the same line.
The New Balance 9060 is part of a lineage of chunky silhouettes that draw on 1990s running heritage while adopting contemporary construction with bold volumes.
