The New Balance 2002R Shoe Palace "Volcanic Rocks" Blue is the result of a collaboration between New Balance and retailer Shoe Palace, built around a strong concept: capturing the raw energy of a volcanic eruption. This pair represents the aerial dimension of the eruption, translated into an expressive sky blue colorway.
The upper is built around an open perforated mesh, covered with overlays in sky blue hairy suede. A darker traditional suede creates contrast on top of the shoe, while the midsole picks up these dark tones to balance the overall design. The 2002R in its blue tones finds one of its most refined expressions here. Each pair comes with a co-branded tote bag and a special box.
