In 1985, an official league letter dated February 25th cited Jordan's shoes for violating uniform rules. This edition brings back the "Banned" theme with X's placed where the Jordan Wings logo typically appears on the heel.
The silhouette features a premium blend of leather and synthetic materials in the upper. The Air Jordan 1 Low maintains the classic proportions of the original model while embracing a more casual low-cut fit. The insoles bear the inscription "On September" in reference to the historic ban.
