The ASICS Gel-NYC 2.0 Lake Grey Piedmont Grey builds on ASICS Archive heritage to deliver an evolved version of the original model. This 2.0 combines three technologies in a single midsole: TRUSSTIC® support units, GEL® inserts, and FF BLAST™ PLUS cushioning, resulting in a lighter and more responsive shoe than its predecessor.
The Lake Grey and Piedmont Grey colorway plays with a palette of calm, nuanced greys, typical of the trail-urbanized aesthetic of the Gel-NYC. Material overlays on the upper create a subtle texture play, blending breathable mesh and structured overlays, faithful to the multi-layered design of ASICS Archive running shoes from the 90s.
The Gel-NYC 2.0 continues ASICS' work on reinterpreting its retro running silhouettes by integrating midsole technologies from its current performance models.
